Why is my TXT record still not found?

DNS changes don't appear everywhere instantly. After you save the TXT record at your registrar, it has to spread across the internet's DNS servers (propagation). In most cases this happens within a few minutes, but it can take up to 72 hours in rare situations. If the verification button still shows “Not found,” wait 10–15 minutes and try again — no action is needed on your end while it propagates.

  • Some registrars require just _lovable as the Host; others need the full _lovable.digitalfoundrylabs.digital.
  • Do not wrap the value in quotes — most registrars add them automatically.
  • Propagation is usually a few minutes but can take up to 72 hours.

Troubleshooting

  • Remove any old A, AAAA, or CNAME records for @ and www that don't point to 185.158.133.1.
  • If you use Cloudflare, enable proxy mode in the Connect Domain dialog before adding records.
  • DNS caches can lag — if a record was just added, re-check in a few minutes.
  • The exact TXT token is in Project Settings → Domains → Connect Domain.
